Courtney Coomer serves as Intake and Bill Review Manager at Preferred Medical, where she leads with a customer-first approach cultivated through more than a decade of industry experience. A Louisville native and proud Kentuckian, Courtney completed her education at Assumption High School before attending Western Kentucky University.

Since joining Preferred Medical’s Ancillary Services department in 2012, Courtney’s exceptional attention to detail and ability to build strong client relationships led to her promotion to Senior MSE Specialist. In her current leadership role, she oversees the Intake Team, ensuring seamless processing of all inbound items while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and accuracy.

Courtney’s management philosophy centers on three core principles: rapid response times, strategic cost containment, and comprehensive communication between injured employees and claims examiners. She instills these values in her team, fostering a culture of professionalism and purpose. When not driving operational excellence at Preferred Medical, Courtney cherishes time with her two young daughters and cheers on her beloved University of Kentucky Wildcats.
